But there's more. This is a spot you can book after hours for a wedding, party or other bash for up to 400 people.

Welcome to The Barn. Order up a grilled veggie quesadilla and soda, and sit back and enjoy outdoor California dining on the patio. Or stay inside and take in the sports atmosphere of a Division One campus and catch a game on ESPN. If you want Western-themed restaurant-style dining, this is your place.

Western, yes, but The Barn will take you south of the border, too. "We're known for our chips and salsa," says manager Susan Coffman, adding that all chips are cut and fried daily from fresh tortillas.

While the Barn can be reserved for large catered events, there's also the more formal University Club, an adjoining room available for meetings, luncheons or seminars with up to 45 people.

So whether it's a relaxed lunch and conversation you want wedding, meeting or birthday party - "you can do just about anything in this facility," says Susan. "Tell us what it is, we'll find a way to do it."
